Happy New Year

January 1, 2016

And just like that, 2015 is a wrap. This has by far been the most challenging and rewarding year with so many changes and new beginnings.

Within the past 6 months, I’ve moved across the country to a place where I didn’t know a single person. I left my family to pursue my dream of living in California. I landed a new job that I absolutely love going to every morning where I get to work the most awesome people. I live in a beautiful apartment in Huntington Beach that I love coming home to. And I’ve been able to hike and explore amazing new places and have met some really great people along the way.

This past year has flown by and has brought me such happiness, and sometimes I still can’t believe that I actually made my dream of moving out here a reality. It definitely came with its challenges, whirlwind of emotions, and bumps along the way, but I absolutely love it here and wouldn’t change a thing.

In 2016, I strive to continue working on living a healthier lifestyle, including eating healthy & energizing meals, staying active, and keeping a healthy, positive mindset and attitude no matter what life throws my way.

“What you think you become, what you feel you attract, what you imagine you create.” – Buddha

I will also spend as much time outdoors in nature exploring the California coastline and mountains. And most importantly, I will continue to get more in touch with my spirituality and living a spiritual way of life. One of my favorite books that I just recently reread is The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra. I will do my best each day to live by these laws, especially The Law of Intention and Desire which states:

“I will release this list of my desires and surrender it to the womb of creation, trusting that when things don’t seem to go my way, there is a reason, and that the cosmic plan has designs for me much grander than even those I have conceived.”

I am excited to see what the universe has in store for me for this coming year and am welcoming it with open arms.

Cheers to a beautiful new year.
